Dr. Pamela D. Smith

Responsibilities:

As Veterinarian, Dr. Smith’s responsibilities are to provide quality health care services to clients and their pets.
MVH Employment:

Dr. Smith has been a key part of the Maple Veterinary Hospital medical team since the practice opened in December, 1994.
Education:

Dr. Smith graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980.
Work Experience:

Dr. Smith is an excellent clinician and surgeon who has been a practicing veterinarian in Southeast Michigan since 1980.
Affiliations: The Huron River Labrador Retriever Club and the National Labrador Retriever Club.
Interests:

Dr. Smith is an avid reader and movie goer. She also enjoys training her dogs for obedience, conformation, and field work.
Charities: Several of Dr. Smith’s dogs have gone on to become service dogs for Paws with a Cause, Leader Dog, and drug detection dogs for law enforcement agencies.
Family:

Dr. Smith is very involved with breeding, training and showing her Labradors and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Over the years, many of Dr. Smith’s faithful companions have achieved “Champion” titles.  Dr. Smith's also has 4 cats and several birds.
