Eye Flush
· normal saline
(CAUTION: Except for normal saline, never put any medication into the eye without consulting with your veterinarian first. In the event of a scratch on the cornea, you can do more damage than good by treating an eye with the wrong medication.)
Wound Cleaning Solution
· Antibacterial Soap
· Betadine solution or Nolvasan Otic
· Hyrogen Peroxide
{Hydrogen Peroxide can also be used to induce vomiting.
{1 teaspoon (5 mls) orally for a 10 lb animal
{2 tablespoons (30 mls) orally for a 40 lb animal
{This dose can be repeated in 5 minutes if your pet
{does not vomit after the first dose.

· 3 X 3 Gauze Squares
· Adhesive Tape 1 inch and 2 inch
· Self Adhesive Tape (coflex) 2 inch
· Telfa nonstick pads
Topical Ointments
· Triple Antibiotic Ointment
· New Skin (liquid bandage)
· 1% Cortisone Cream
· Topical Benadryl

kwik Stop to stop a bleeding toenail
(in an emergency, cornstarch can be applied to stop toenail bleeding)

· Can be given every 8 to 12 hours
· Maximum doses for cats and dogs is based on weight
5 lbs – 2.5 mls ( 1/2 tsp.)
10 lbs – 12.5 mgs
30 lbs – 25.0 mgs
50 lbs – 50.0 mgs
80 lbs – 75.0 mgs
100 lbs – 100.0 mgs
